    CyberPoint International LLC has a career opportunity for a Test Engineer, located in the Columbia, MD area. The Test Engineer should be a motivated self-starter and will develop and implement test strategies, plans, traceability matrices, procedures, and reports. This position will incorporate both manual testing of requirements, use case workflows, and incorporation of automation testing tools. #CJ




    Basic Qualifications:


    - Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field 

    - 8+ years professional experience test engineering modern HW and SW systems

    - 4+ years professional experience performing requirements analysis

    - 4+ years of experience with bug tracking software

    - 4+ years of experience with OSI Model, TCP/IP networking, routing, switching, and other basic network concepts

    - 4+ years of experience developing or testing software written in C/C++, Java, Perl and scripting languages

    - 4+ years of experience testing software on Windows, Linux and Solaris Platforms

    - Testing systems at component, integration, system, and end-to-end levels

    - TS/SCI w/ polygraph clearance required


    Preferred Qualifications:


    - Proficiency in test strategies, plans, traceability matrices, procedures, and reports

    - Extensive knowledge of computers, networks, operating systems and protocols

    - Product and system testing processes knowledge

    - Strategies to design, implement test lab configuration and fixture knowledge

    - Effectively emulating real network performance and challenges experience

    - Building total end-to-end test infrastructure experience

    - Source to destination, using resources contained in a single lab or shared labs

    - Provisioning computers loaded with required software experience

    - Creating a test thread through an available network infrastructure experience

    - Conducting component and system integration testing according to test plans

    - Identifying and executing additional testing that adds value to the test results

    - Documenting tests to government-defined standards experience

    - Testing procedures and results experience
